Camarron is Jessica's primary personal show horse.  Cam is a testament to Jessica's amazing way with horses.  When Cam was brought to Evenstar Farms by his breeder two years ago he was scared and weak after having an accident where he was flipped over due to some erroneous training methods.  Jessica and her husband Zak first addressed Cam's weakness and fear through ground work.  As Cam was started back under saddle it was discovered that not only did he not know how to use his own body but that he had also learned to rear with his previous training. Through classical methods and a soft hand Jessica was able to start Cam over fences within 8 months. Very shortly after starting him over fences Jessica and Zak purchased Cam from his breeder.  He entered the 'A' Circuit show ring for the first time in the spring of 2017 winning his very first class.  Throughout the 2017 show season Jessica with the coaching of 2x World Cup Rider John Mc Connell he has progressed leaps and bounds.  He placed in every one of his classes at Langer's Fall Classic Horse Show.  Follow us on facebook to watch Cam's continued journey with Jessica.

Poker Chip

Poker Chip was Jessica's main show horse until January 2017 when she lost him due to a complication from colic surgery from two years prior.  Chip was Jessica's heart horse and they had a connection that could be seen by all.  She purchased Chip of the track as a 4 year old.  He took home a blue ribbon at his first show where he competed at .90 meters at the Colorado Horse Park in 2011.  He advanced very quickly with the height of the fences never phasing him.  He is dearly missed by all of the Evenstar Farms team.
